Building in public

    Updates

PitchPop is in public beta. Real changes ship most days, based on real founder feedback. No roadmap theatre — what's below actually went out, in the order it went out.

    • JUN 19UXDIAGNOSE

No website yet? Start your diagnosis from your pitch deck

      • Step 1 now gives you a choice: paste your website, or upload your pitch deck as a PDF. Plenty of founders are raising before they have a site, and now your deck is enough to get a full investor read.
      • It reads the words and numbers right off your slides, your traction, raise size, market and story, and feeds them into the diagnosis. Even decks exported as flat images get read, not just text PDFs.
      • Your deck is read only to run your diagnosis, and we do not store the file.

Why it mattersYour deck is the sharpest version of your pitch. Letting it stand in for a website means a founder with no public presence still gets the same honest read on why investors are not replying.

    • JUN 15LAUNCHDIAGNOSE

Reply Decoder: paste any investor reply and see what they actually meant

      • A new free tool. Paste a real investor reply from email, LinkedIn or Telegram, and PitchPop marks up the subtext line by line, then calls the verdict: soft no, hard no, or still alive.
      • It pulls the one objection hiding under the polite wording, tells you the next move, and drafts a reply you can send back, grounded in the investor's own words instead of a generic template.
      • First decode is free, no signup. Leave your email for a second one, and during the beta every founder who unlocks gets 50 decodes plus a founder call.

Why it mattersInvestors rarely give a clean no. They say "let's keep in touch" and go quiet, and reading that subtext wrong is how founders waste weeks on a dead lead or drop a live one. Reply Decoder turns the reply you are staring at into a clear call and a next step.

    • JUN 7UXTRUST

Save your read to your inbox, or join the waitlist if your niche isn't live yet

      • The last line of your locked read is now a real input: drop your email and we send a private link straight back to your diagnosis. Your in-browser draft expires after 24 hours, but the saved link does not, so you can sleep on it and pick the read back up from your inbox.
      • If you are raising outside AI and Web3, the Market Radar no longer shows an empty shell. It tells you plainly that investor matching for your niche is not live yet, and lets you leave your email so we can notify you the moment it is.

Why it mattersMost founders read once and leave before deciding. Whether you are saving your read for later or waiting on your niche, an email in hand means we can bring you back when it counts.

    • JUN 5UXTRUST

See more of what you're paying for, before you pay

      • Your locked Market Radar now shows three named recent raises in your niche in full, with disclosed amount, lead, and stage, so you can judge the data quality before deciding anything.
      • It also surfaces three active VC funds matched to your raise, named and readable. The rest of the shortlist stays blurred as proof of depth, and the full matched pool unlocks when you do.
      • You can also open the Perks and Resources drawers and see exactly what the paid tier includes, with the actions held until you unlock.

Why it mattersA few real, named rows and an open look at the paid drawers beat any "trust us, there is more" promise. You see the value is concrete before paying, not after.

    • JUN 3DIAGNOSETRUST

A stronger shape, now written for your raise and grounded in your real numbers

      • The "A stronger shape" line on your investor read is now generated for your raise specifically. It reshapes how you would say it using your own numbers (your MRR, growth rate, round size, customer count), not a one-size-fits-all template line.
      • It leads with proof instead of abstraction, and it will never hand back the same buzzwords the pitch scan just flagged in your description. A tool that calls "enterprise-grade" weak should not suggest "enterprise-grade" back.
      • If it cannot ground a sharper version in your actual numbers, it stays quiet instead of inventing a placeholder or a vague claim.
      • The investor read also drops the generic filler line under your intake quotes, so your own words carry the read.

Why it mattersThe first rewrite a founder reads is a competence test for the tool. A specific, proof-led reshape that never contradicts its own buzzword scan is the difference between "this gets me" and closing the tab.

    • JUN 2UX

See exactly what €49 unlocks, before you pay

      • The locked workspace now shows the concrete deliverables you unlock as glanceable tiles: your cold email sequence, the funds matched to your raise, and your week-by-week plan, each with a one-line preview.
      • The founding-user price sits upfront and the build-log view collapses, so the value you are paying for is front and center instead of buried under detail.

Why it mattersFounders should see what they are paying for before they pay. The locked view now reads as a clear offer, not a wall you take on faith.

    • MAY 31WEB3

More comparable Web3 raises behind your benchmark

      • The verified Web3 raise pool behind your benchmark grew to roughly 190 named 2026 and late-2025 rounds, so more sub-verticals surface a real shortlist of comparables instead of a thin one.
      • Every added round keeps the same bar: a disclosed amount, a named lead, and a real source. No padding to look bigger.

Why it mattersA deeper, still-verified pool means your raise gets read against more rounds that actually look like yours.

    • MAY 30UX

Your free read got sharper, and easier to come back to

      • The pitch scan is now glanceable: the exact phrases investors skim past show right on the strip (like "AI-powered platform" or "leverage", plus a count), with your description marked up and a "what investors hear" view one tap away.
      • The investor pushback now shows a teaser of how you would answer it before you unlock, so you are not deciding behind a blind paywall.
      • You can start a fresh diagnosis anytime, and if you return later with a saved workspace, PitchPop offers to reopen it or start clean instead of losing your place.

Why it mattersThe free read is the first real test of the tool. Making it glanceable, honest about what is behind the unlock, and easy to resume keeps founders moving instead of bouncing.

    • MAY 29OUTREACHTRUST

Smarter investor outreach: a 3-touch LinkedIn sequence, honest by default

      • Every campaign now runs a three-touch LinkedIn sequence: the connection request and first touch, a follow-up around day 3, and a final note around day 7. One message rarely earns a reply.
      • Follow-ups only add real context from what you told PitchPop. They never invent traction, and they never pretend we read an investor's posts when we did not.
      • You connect LinkedIn in one step, approve every send, and track each investor as Sent, Accepted, or Replied. Any reply pauses that investor's follow-ups automatically.

Why it mattersTargeted fundraising outreach only works when it is grounded and paced. A fake 'loved your recent post' burns the investor on contact. A real, paced sequence is how founders actually get replies.

    • MAY 28OUTREACHWEB3

Web3 founders can now send investor outreach on LinkedIn

      • The one-click LinkedIn outreach we shipped for AI founders is now open to Web3 founders too, matched against our 200+ Web3 fund directory.
      • Messages are crypto-native: your instrument (token, SAFE, hybrid), sub-vertical, and round size framed the way Web3 investors actually read them.
      • Sent through our LinkedIn integration with SalesTrigger, from your own account, in small daily batches you approve before anything goes out.

Why it mattersWeb3 and AI founders now get the same execution power. No waitlist, no second-class version.

    • MAY 27OUTREACH

LinkedIn investor outreach is live for AI and SaaS founders

      • PitchPop now matches the investors backing raises like yours, drafts the first-touch message in your voice, and sends the LinkedIn connection request and DM for you.
      • Built on our LinkedIn integration with SalesTrigger, so outreach goes out from your own LinkedIn account, paced in small daily batches to protect it.
      • You review every investor and every message and approve before anything sends. This is the outreach autopilot we said was in build on May 23. It now ships real outreach.

Why it mattersThe hardest step in a raise is the first message to the right investor. PitchPop now closes the gap from 'here is your blocker' to 'here is the investor, and the message, sent.'

    • MAY 23UX

Faster checkout, paid brief that self-heals, LinkedIn autopilot in build

      • Stripe opens in ~4 seconds at checkout. The brief generation that used to block the button moved off the critical path — your raise loads on the paid workspace within ~12 seconds after payment, with a staged loader showing live progress.
      • Paid sessions self-heal. If anything fails mid-generation, the brief regenerates automatically on next visit. Server-side security tightened so paid content is gated end-to-end. No stuck loops, no leaks.
      • Coming next: LinkedIn outreach autopilot. Foundation just shipped — normalized contact records for the funds matched to your raise, so the upcoming integration can draft personalised first-touch DMs straight from your shortlist.

Why it mattersLess waiting before you see your paid workspace, automatic recovery if anything breaks, and the groundwork for one-click LinkedIn outreach to your matched investors landed this week.

    • MAY 22UX

Your free workspace got new things — before you pay

      • Buzzword detector live in your free read. Scans your description for the 30+ phrases pre-seed and seed investors learn to skim past — "autonomous agents," "leveraging AI," "next-gen infra" and 27 more — flags the matches inline so you can rewrite before you send.
      • Cohort preview and matched perks visible without paying. See your fund shortlist count, the number of comparable raises scanned for your case, and which founder discounts match your raise — all on the free workspace.

Why it mattersThe free tier was a teaser. Now it's a real tool — buzzword scan, fund + raises cohort preview, and matched perks — before you decide to unlock the full pack.

    • MAY 22WEB3

Web3 fund matching: deeper pool, sorted by fit

      • Your shortlist of matched Web3 funds expanded — drawn from a 200+ Web3 fund directory across DeFi, DePIN, RWA, iGaming, infra, AI × crypto, wallets and stablecoins. Narrow sub-verticals that previously hit "no match" now surface a real shortlist.
      • Every fund tagged by fit quality — high-fit (active in your exact sub-vertical, check size matches), adjacent (related vertical, second wave), wider pool (loose match). Lead with high-fit, plan the rest from one page.
      • Honest tier labels. Adjacent funds get the adjacent label — we don't quietly upgrade them to high-fit just to pad the list. You read your shortlist knowing what each tier is worth.

Why it mattersA thin shortlist felt limiting even when correct. A tier-tagged shortlist gives you a full week of outreach to plan in one click.

    • MAY 15DIAGNOSEUX

Pitch rewrite engine v2: signal-driven structural moves replace paraphrase

      • The 'Start here' rewrite on your free workspace now applies one of nine signal-driven structural moves grounded in your actual input: decompose a revenue number into composition, quantify a differentiator with concrete units, time-anchor your growth as a ratio, compose Web3 volume as non-incentivized organic, or name a partnership with its scale signal. Each move adds investor-readable information that was not in the original.
      • Sharper, not longer. The engine is benchmarked against your input — if it cannot add real information, it compresses your original to a tighter single sentence. Pad-with-adjectives output is no longer the fallback for raises with thin signal.
      • Founder-voice quality bar across every output surface. The text reads like a sharp founder wrote it after a clarifying call, not like AI-assisted copy. The buzzword filter strips out the category-language pre-seed and seed investors learn to skim past in the first sentence.

Why it mattersThe first piece of writing a founder reads after a diagnosis is a competence test for the tool. A rewrite that pads '$31K MRR' with 'leverages our unique data for social-driven growth' gets the founder to close the tab. A rewrite that turns it into '$31K MRR from 4 contracts at $7K avg ACV, channel running at 10% capacity' gets it forwarded to a co-founder.

    • MAY 14DIAGNOSE

Diagnosis engine v2: cohort-grounded reading of your fundraising signals

      • The diagnosis now extracts revenue, trading volume, customer counts, traction percentages, and prior raises directly from your description and intake — then anchors the read against the 2026 verified-raise cohort. Numbers you wrote stay yours, framed by what investors are actually pattern-matching against this quarter.
      • Outreach drafts evolve with your raise. Each bump and follow-up references only updates you have shared with PitchPop, so every number in the message ties back to a real founder-provided signal. Copy-paste-ready for live outreach, with no fabricated traction to walk back later on a call.
      • Token-raise founders: token economics read as token design. Supply, vesting, FDV, and TGE timing categorized correctly across diagnosis and outreach. Equity valuations surface only when you explicitly state them — no inferred valuations from token supply or vesting parameters.
      • A new grounding layer runs across the diagnosis, analysis, and outreach pipelines. Every claim references your corpus first, and contradicting facts surface with a discount explanation instead of getting dropped from the read.

Why it mattersA diagnosis tool only earns founder trust if it reads what you actually wrote. This update closes the gap between what founders provide and what the system reflects back across every surface, from the free-layer read through the paid outreach pack.

    • MAY 10DIAGNOSEUX

AI / SaaS diagnosis: same depth Web3 has, tuned for AI-specific pitch tells

      • AI and SaaS founders now get a free-layer diagnosis that catches the specific phrasing investors skim past — "AI agent teams", "deep context", "autonomous workflows", "replaces N team members", and 16 more vertical-specific tells
      • 20 verified AI seed and Series A raises now anchor the cohort comparison — named projects, verbatim opener quotes from their company blogs and press releases, and a one-line read on how to borrow the pattern
      • Six AI sub-shapes covered end-to-end: vertical AI, horizontal AI infra, agent platforms, AI dev tools, consumer AI, AI-native enterprise SaaS — each with at least three verified comparable raises
      • Reply Failure Workspace is now the default free-layer experience for every founder — Web3, AI / SaaS, and generic — unfolding into the paid workspace once unlocked

Why it mattersAI / SaaS founders get the same depth Web3 founders have had — same pattern library reach, same verified cohort, same first-read tone.

    • MAY 9WEB3DIAGNOSE

Free-layer wow cards: the diagnosis reads investors before they read you

      • Web3 founders now see the shock-diagnosis hero on every free-layer read — named pattern hits, comparable-raise tells, and the exact line that tends to trigger a polite pass
      • When the diagnosis catches a buzz pattern or a fund-mismatch signal in the intake, it surfaces as a named card right under the verdict — not as a paragraph at the bottom of the page
      • Eight verified DeFi seed and Series A raises now anchor the free-layer cohort row — named projects, verbatim opener quotes from their own announcement posts, and a one-line read on what shape their opener actually has

Why it mattersA diagnosis paragraph is easy to dismiss. A named card with the exact phrase an investor would skim past — and a named comparable raise with the opener that landed — is not.

    • MAY 8WEB3UX

Descriptive benchmark: what the comparable raises actually disclosed

      • Comparable Web3 raises now render as a descriptive ledger — amounts, leads, quarters, and named projects side-by-side with your raise, with no "verdict" tone wrapped around them
      • The sample slice is labelled honestly: when the cohort skews toward press-covered top-fund deals, you see that label, so you read your position knowing what the sample is and isn't
      • Same numbers on the diagnosis hero and the standalone Proof & Benchmark page — one read, one tone, no contradiction depending on where you open it

Why it mattersWhen the sample is biased, a median is a false friend. The new ledger shows you the rounds, the leads, and the quarters — and trusts you to read what your raise looks like next to them.

    • MAY 7WEB3UX

Investor outreach drafts in your voice, anchored in your actual raise

      • LinkedIn DM, email, and warm intro ask for every paid founder — Web3 raises also get X DM and Telegram on top
      • Each draft opens by answering the question investors haven't asked aloud yet — the one that usually leads to a polite pass
      • Web3 raises with enough comparables can cite one real recent round in body — named fund, named project, named quarter — never invented
      • Replaces the three generic email templates Web2 and AI founders were getting, so every paid raise now opens the same channel-native pack

Why it mattersGeneric openers get ignored within a sentence. PitchPop drafts read like the founder wrote them after a sharp diagnosis — because they quote your actual raise, not category buzzwords.

    • MAY 6WEB3UX

Cohort read on your raise — what investors actually hear from your number

      • Your target raise now sits next to real comparable Web3 deals on a strip, with the amount labelled — not a YOU marker hovering at zero
      • A one-line read explains how investors see your number vs the cohort median: small ask that needs a clearer milestone, in line with peers, or stretched beyond the proof you have today
      • Live on both the diagnosis hero and the dedicated Proof & Benchmark page, so the read is the same wherever you open it

Why it mattersFounders don't need more dashboards. They need one clear sentence on whether their raise size reads as confidence, hustle, or "something is off" to the funds in their cohort.

    • MAY 5WEB3UX

Web3 paid workspace, rebuilt around what a founder actually opens during a raise

      • New command-center diagnosis: primary blocker, raise-vs-cohort read, three pillars of investor reaction, and a preview of funds backing comparable raises — all visible without scrolling
      • Channel-native outreach pack: separate drafts for X DM, Telegram, email and warm intro asks — each grounded in your diagnosis, ready to copy
      • Matched investors layer: top funds active in your sub-vertical with mandate notes, public X handles, and how many of your cohort's recent rounds they led or co-led
      • Dedicated Proof & Benchmark page: where your raise sits vs 5+ comparable Web3 deals, with a one-line read on what investors will read into it

Why it mattersA paid workspace should give back time, not eat it. Every raise-relevant move is now one click from the diagnosis — diagnosis, plan, outreach, benchmark, funds, proof, perks.

    • MAY 3WEB3

Web3 benchmark: see who's backing raises like yours

      • Identifies your Web3 sub-vertical — DeFi, DePIN, iGaming, RWA, infra, AI × crypto, wallets and stablecoins, and more — and pulls the rounds investors actually closed there in 2026
      • Named lead funds and co-investors active in your space — from Pantera, a16z crypto, ICONIQ and Castle Island to Polychain, Multicoin, Galaxy, Dragonfly and dozens more
      • Reads your raise against the actual cohort: your ask vs the median, your closest comparable named directly, your position in one line
      • Every comp source-cited — only verified 2026 rounds with disclosed amounts and named lead investors make it in

Why it mattersWeb3 fundraising intelligence has lived behind PitchBook-tier paywalls. PitchPop puts a sharp, sub-vertical-aware version in front of every Web3 founder — for €49 instead of $thousands.

    • MAY 2WEB3DIAGNOSE

Web3 diagnosis: tuned for your sub-vertical and your raise instrument

      • Web3 raises read by instrument: token (SAFT) / hybrid (SAFE + warrant) / equity-only crypto — the diagnosis adapts to the structure
      • Sub-vertical aware across 12 Web3 categories — DeFi, iGaming, NFT, infra, RWA, DePIN, AI x crypto and more — so traction questions match what the founder actually builds
      • Investor TYPE asked before outreach mechanics — for narrow-fit categories, "what kind of fund are you talking to" matters more than "how many you've contacted"
      • Round form: cap (this round) and FDV (token-wide) asked separately, never conflated

Why it mattersWeb3 founders get a structure-aware, sub-vertical-aware fundraising diagnosis — built with input from active Web3 fundraising advisors, active VCs and angel investors.

    • APR 30UX

Post-email screen rebuilt as a workspace preview

      • Hero diagnosis card plus five module cards: fix plan, outreach scripts, benchmark check, pitch rewrite, matched perks
      • Each card has a personalised teaser line so you see what's inside before you unlock

Why it mattersFounders should see exactly what they're paying for before they pay. The new layout makes the value visible upfront.

    • APR 30UX

Sharper pre-email read — hypothesis first, no wall of text

      • The first read is now a clean hypothesis card: blocker + why, in two short lines
      • Built-in "does this feel right?" check — agree or push back, and PitchPop refines the diagnosis with your correction
      • Faster to grasp, easier to challenge, harder to dismiss

Why it mattersA diagnosis you can argue with is a diagnosis you'll trust. The new format puts the call front and centre and leaves room to push back before you go further.

    • APR 29LAUNCH

      • Free diagnosis, no signup, no card
      • €49 unlocks the full action plan, outreach scripts, benchmark check, pitch rewrite, and matched founder perks
